The Arab Network for Civic Education

The Arab Network for Civic Education (ANHRE) is engaged in the 2030 agenda for sustainable development. ANHRE launched its strategy 2017-2019 for more inclusiveness of disability and rights of most vulnerable groups, such as women, rural people and refugees. Since its establishment, ANHRE has worked on promoting human rights and citizenship through strengthening capacities of civil society organizations at national and regional levels.

Arab Women’s Organization Musawa

AWO is a Jordanian member-based NGO, established by 16 women in 1970, with main office in Amman. They work on promoting and enhancing women’s rights in Jordan, economic and political empowerment of women and to build relationships with women’s organizations on national, regional and international levels.

I Dare for Sustainable Development

I Dare is a non-for-profit company which believes in youth as the driving force towards development. I Dare’s work is built of the belief in the transformative power of positive behaviour change led by youth.

Information and Research Center – King Hussein Foundation

The Information and Research Center – King Hussein Foundation (IRCKHF) was initially launched in 1996. The center promotes the welfare of children, youth, women, families, communities, and vulnerable groups by providing objective, multidisciplinary research and analysis to practitioners and policymakers in Jordan and the Middle East, enabling effective socio-economic planning and decision-making.

Jordanian Women’s Union

Jordanian Women’s Union (JWU) is a Jordanian NGO active in Jordan since 1945, re-established in 1990. JWU is member-based and has over 10 000 members all over the country in 13 branches. JWU took the initiative to, and is currently leading and coordinating Roa’a, the Arab Women Regional Network, made up of 18 national feminist organizations in a range of countries in the Arab World.

SANA for Special Individuals

SANA is a Jordanian NGO founded in 2010. SANA is working to change attitudes towards persons with disabilities (PwD), to reduce stigma and to start support groups for parents of children with intellectual disabilities.

West Asia North Africa Institute

The West Asia-North Africa (WANA) Institute is a non-profit policy think tank based in Amman, Jordan. WANA’s mission is to empower the people of West Asia and North Africa with the tools, evidence and platform needed to secure social justice, safeguard human security and promote a green economy.

East & West Center for Sustainable Development

East & West Center for Sustainable Development (WE Center) was established in 2008. WE Center trains young women, men and people with disabilities to raise their awareness on their rights as workers, in order for them to become agents of change in their communities and in the country.
